Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legal agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and TraderScript, a sole proprietorship registered in Quebec, Canada (“TraderScript”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the TraderScript mobile application or related web services (collectively, the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. About TraderScript

TraderScript is a trading discipline enforcement tool. It uses Apple's Screen Time API to block trading platforms on your device when you violate self-defined trading rules. TraderScript does not provide financial advice, trading signals, investment recommendations, or brokerage services of any kind. All rules and limits are defined solely by you.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use TraderScript. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. TraderScript is not intended for use by minors.

3. Accounts

Pro Mode requires you to create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

Free / Manual Mode does not require an account. All data in this mode is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it.

4. Subscription & Payments

a) Plans

TraderScript offers a free tier (Manual Mode) and a paid Pro subscription. Subscription pricing and plan details are available at traderscript.ai/pricing.

b) Billing

Paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record. Paddle handles all billing, invoicing, and tax compliance on our behalf. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.

c) Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time via your account settings.

d) Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price change via email before it takes effect.

5. Refund Policy

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Given the short billing cycle, we do not offer refunds or credits for partial months.

Annual Subscriptions

If you subscribed to an annual plan, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase date. Refund requests after 14 days will not be accepted. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] with your order details.

Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued for accounts terminated due to a violation of these Terms. Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

7. Broker Connectivity & Third-Party Services

Pro Mode allows you to connect your MetaTrader broker account via MetaAPI for read-only trade data sync. By connecting your broker account, you confirm that you have the right to grant this access and that doing so does not violate your broker's terms of service.

TraderScript has no ability to place, modify, or cancel trades on your behalf. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of data provided by your broker or MetaAPI.

The App may integrate with third-party services including Supabase, MetaAPI, Sentry, and PostHog. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. No Financial Advice

TraderScript is a discipline and productivity tool. Nothing in the App constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading recommendations, or any form of regulated financial service. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and their outcomes. TraderScript is not liable for any financial losses you incur while using or not using the App.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, software, design, and trademarks associated with TraderScript are owned by or licensed to TraderScript. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use. No other rights are granted.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that blocking mechanisms will function without failure in all circumstances.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TraderScript shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits or trading losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to TraderScript in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the App. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If you are a resident of the European Union, your local consumer protection laws may also apply and are not affected by this clause.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Quebec, Canada.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
